WATER FRONT

In this project I explore all the places near the water in St. Petersburg. Here I will show the rivers and canals, the bay and everything that happens one way or another near the water front of the city.

This story is divided into short chapters. Here I want to cover different topics - from environmental to social to display the role of water in shaping the image of the city.

I focus on all the possible ways in which people living in a large metropolis interact with the element of water and how they use coastal areas. Themes such as urbanization, mass tourism, sports, and entertainment naturally flow from this project. Furthermore, St. Petersburg is a very romantic city, and this image was shaped in part by water.

I continue to take photographs near water for this project. The work continues even when all the water in the city freezes.
